Death Cafe
As the facilitator of the Steamboat Death Café, I create a welcoming and open space for people to gather in honest, heartfelt conversations about death and dying. This is not a grief group or a counseling session but rather a community-led dialogue where curiosity, reflection, and shared experience guide us. With deep reverence for life’s impermanence, I hold space for participants to explore their own thoughts, fears, and wonderings about death in a way that is free from judgment or agenda. My role is to ensure that everyone feels heard, respected, and supported as we engage in a topic that is often pushed to the margins of daily conversation.
I believe that speaking about death—openly and without fear—can bring us into greater alignment with life. Through the Death Café, I offer a space where people can connect, share stories, and build a sense of collective wisdom around an experience we all share. Rooted in my work as a death doula and my experience in guiding people through life’s thresholds, I bring warmth, presence, and a deep appreciation for the mystery of it all. Whether you come with questions, stories, or simply a willingness to listen, you are welcome here.
