Yoga Instructor

As a yoga instructor in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, I bring a grounded, compassionate, and intentional approach to every class I teach. My practice is rooted in a deep reverence for the natural world and the cycles that shape our lives — lessons I’ve learned through years of guiding people in wild spaces and walking alongside those at life’s most powerful thresholds. Whether leading a gentle flow or a more dynamic practice, I strive to create a space where students can explore their physical and emotional edges with curiosity and grace. Yoga, to me, is more than movement; it’s a path to reconnect with our breath, our bodies, and the present moment — an invitation to meet ourselves exactly as we are.

I currently teach at both Old Town Hot Springs and Harmony Yoga, where my classes blend strength, balance, and restoration. Drawing from my background as an outdoor leader and Death Doula, I hold space for each student to move through their own internal landscapes, honoring whatever arises on the mat. My intention is to guide others toward a sense of embodied awareness and resilience — to help them feel more empowered, grounded, and connected to the world around them. Whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, I welcome you to join me in discovering the strength and softness that lives within you.

Enhanced Physical Strength and Flexibility

Through consistent practice, yoga builds strength in both large and stabilizing muscles while promoting greater flexibility. This balance supports better posture, reduces the risk of injury, and helps you move more freely — both on and off the mat.

Stress Relief and Emotional Balance

Yoga’s focus on breath and mindful movement activates the parasympathetic nervous system, encouraging relaxation and reducing stress. Over time, this cultivates emotional resilience, helping you meet life’s challenges with greater clarity and calmness.

Increased Mind-Body Awareness

By tuning into your breath and body sensations, yoga fosters a deeper connection to yourself. This awareness promotes better focus, encourages self-compassion, and supports an overall sense of grounding — empowering you to move through life with intention and grace.
